Faith, family, and fraternity rooted at Presentation Parish.

A word from the Grand Knight

Whether you have been a Knight for forty years or are simply curious about who we are, you have a brother in this council. Come to a meeting, share a meal, and see for yourself what fraternity feels like at Presentation.

Our principles

Four pillars, one fraternity.

Founded in 1882 by Blessed Michael McGivney, the Knights stand on four principles. Our council lives them out at the parish level — week in, week out.

I.

Charity

From the food pantry collection to our work with Covenant House Newark, we are our parish's hands and feet for those in need.

II.

Unity

None of us is as good as all of us. We work shoulder-to-shoulder with our pastor, our parish, and our community.

12 parish events / year
III.

Fraternity

A circle of Catholic men who hold each other up — at first communions and at funerals, in joys and in trials.

100+ brother knights
IV.

Patriotism

Faithful citizens who honor our country, support our veterans, and stand for the dignity of every life among us.

20 Fourth Degree Knights
Our 2025 impact

What 100 brothers can do, by God’s grace.

Every dollar, every hour, every coat — accounted for and given back to our parish, our town, and the families who call us neighbor.

A short history

58 years of brothers, one parish.

Presentation Council #6033 was chartered in May 1968 at Church of the Presentation in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey. From its first pancake breakfast that autumn to today, the council has been bound to the rhythms of parish life here.

We have buried our brothers and welcomed new ones; we have served multiple pastors and seen the parish grow around us. The work has never changed: support the priest, care for the poor, and walk together in faith.
